What's with every new band I find out about on the internet, being from Australia this last month or so?

Anybody?


First it was Bleeding Knees Club, then The Creases and now these guys.







Now, I know Australia is a fucking entire country and all....



...but have I ever listened to a band from Australia before? I can't think of one off the top of my head so lets go with "No." So what gives all of a sudden?

I saw these in a Rick Ross video and thought "I want those."

Then I found out they were Reeboks. How expensive could they be?

Then I saw them in the window in a store on Fulton, found out they're retros of Shawn Kemps old shoe and they cost $140. Guess I'll stick with Mom taking me to the Vans outlet.

Been listening to this band Priests all day, They're from Washington DC. They got the singer from Chain and the Gang. Wanna check it out?








They're playin a house show in New Brunswick on Friday. Anybody wanna come with me?

Wondering what else is going on in DC? Young Gleesh is pretty cool. He's on GBE and is a fucking dinosaur on that label. (he's 23)

REDEMPTION

Deerhunter decided to not be a shitty band anymore. It's nice to see they're still down with dudes in dresses though, after it cemented their internet fame almost 10 years ago.
