Man, these guys. Too bad. Not blaming the trade either. I just mean, I thought these guys were capable of anything around the time this picture was taken. Maybe they'll surprise us.
I have this weird dream where they reunite as Lakers. No other team could be that lucky. Coached by Walton?
It took me a while to come around on this one. It takes a full minute for the song to start. The video isn't that good. Maybe open another tab. This song has been stuck in my head for about 2 weeks.
Also, I hope there's there are some guys singing to their girlfriends "In this foreign car let it go" while they're whippin' around in their Hyundai Accent or something.
Kiss originally wrote this song for Rod Stewart, but after a Kiss ballad ended up becoming a hit, they recorded it themselves to follow it up.
The original song that got Kiss to bare their emotions was Beth. The video cracks me up... these guys in their sci-fi/glam demon make up being so somber.
Rosetta Tharpe! She was born on a Cotton Plant in Arkansas in 1915. She started touring with her Mom at 6 years old, in a evangelical troupe and would be billed as "the singing and guitar playing miracle!" She jammed as an extension of the same church for almost 20 years until, yup, she moved to New York City. There she signed with Decca and became one of the first popular gospel artists ever, and had a nice run through the late 60's.
Last night I was pissed Melo didn't get the call. Rondo fouled him for sure. But after seeing this screen shot, it seems like maybe they deserved to loose. "HEY I'M OPEN!!!! RIGHT UNDER THE FUCKING BASKET!!!"
